Lounge
The lounge has two armchairs and a contemporary two-seater sofa with large matching footstool, ideal for relaxing after a days walking or sightseeing. There is a desk and chair and power socket – ideal if you are looking for a peaceful place to work or catch up on emails while you are away. There is a 32" HD Smart television. On your arrival we provide some logs, firelighters, kindling and matches for the incredibly efficient wood-burner. Kitchen
The kitchen has everything you need to make a delicious meal or simply to warm up a takeaway supper. The Rayburn acts as the boiler for the radiators and the hot water, is a fantastic oven and keeps the kitchen toasty and warm in winter. The room is airy and bright and has a rural outlook over the garden to a field beyond where cattle graze and hens and pheasants wander. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge with small freezer compartment, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, microwave, induction hob, iron and ironing board. A complimentary pint of milk, teabags and coffee are waiting on your arrival. Just off the kitchen there is a separate utility room with a washing machine, tumble drier and toilet.
Bedrooms
Merok Cottage has two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables. We provide bed linen, duvets, spare blankets, pillows and fresh towels. There is a HD television and a hairdryer.
The second bedroom has a full size bunk bed, chest of drawers and hanging hooks. There is a plug-in nightlight and a lovely view over the garden and fields behind.
There is a travel cot for babies and toddlers we just ask that you bring your own bed linen. There is a stairgate to ensure that wandering toddlers can be safe and that dogs do not go upstairs.
Bathroom
The bathroom has a washbasin with cupboard under, bath, heated towel rail and toilet. The bath has a hand held shower attachment.
